Dream Bout: Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather Jr.

Back in the Golden Years of Boxing, When there was ANY question of who was the best fighter in the world for their weight class. That $*** Got settled by two Titans, Like Men. They made their bankrolls on those fights, sure, but they also built their legacies on them too. Ali & Frasier fought in a historic rematch bout that essentially ended the career of both, and nearly ended the lives of both as well. To a normal person, that sounds crazy. But to a true athlete, a legend, a gladiator of the sport Boxing... That sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity. To live amongst the greatest of all times for the fight you laid your life on the line for.

The Fans have been pleading, begging, drooling over the prospect of a Manny Pacquiao Vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Bout FOR YEARS! And for some reason, in the dying days of a historic sport, this is the one chance it has against MMA, who is trying to kill it off. And the two players cannot get it together. I don't care how you try to defend Floyd Mayweather for this... Steroid Worries, Pride, whatever. If you are a true champion, a true boxer and worthy of being remembered forever as one of the greatest ever.. you say yes, no questions asked. And As for Manny Pacquiao, you take any tests necessary, I don't care what your beliefs are. The FANS DONT CARE what you two have to say... We want your fists to talk, not your mouths.

Mr. Mayweather Jr. You claim to be one of the greatest. As of right now, your legacy will be all about the fight you would not accept. The EPIC Bout you were "afraid" to tackle. Maybe he isn't afraid, but that is how it will be written in history if this doesn't happen. I promise you that.

Manny Pacquiao will suffer a similar fate unfortunately. As amazing as he is, he won't reach his pinnacle of stardom, unless he fights his mortal enemy, Floyd Mayweather Jr. What if Ali and Frazer talked as much trash as they did and never fought? Would we still be talking about what they did for Boxing as much today?

You don't fight for yourself, for the money or for the popularity. You fight because you were born to. An Inherent Warrior that some are blessed with, a warrior with a thirst for battle. No matter how you go about your career in Boxing, if you don't embrace your inner warrior, you will never reach the Mountain Top. Boxing is ailing. And the two biggest names have a legend-making opportunity in front them. Attendance Records, PPV Records, could be broken. It could possibly go down as one of the greatest fights of all time. It could even possibly revive the sport of Boxing...

The Sport is bigger than the players, but the players sometimes forget that. Do it for the fans and for the sport that made you. Be the warriors your are supposed to be. There is no way that you can lose, no matter the outcome in fight like this.

This Bout truly is what Legends are Made of, and it may have to settle for being nothing more, than a myth...
